SiC provide greater hardness (approaching diamond), withstanding of pumping pressure, corrosion and abrasion resistant, self-lubrication and temperature fluctuation tolerance. Drive shaft and pump housing are made from stainless steel, and the housing is further reinforced with fiberglass for bulletproof abrasion and corrosion resistance.
